I served as the lead writer on a team commissioned to develop a series of new content assets for Vault, a high net worth insurance agency. One of Vault’s key communication objectives was to raise brokers’ awareness of Excess and Surplus lines (E&S) as an underused solution for their clients

My primary responsibility was to write a statement from the point of view of Vault’s CEO. Vault wanted this to read as a cross between a white paper and a feature article.

To achieve this, I crafted a Q&A for an in-depth interview with Vault’s CEO and worked with our team’s SME to gain further proficiency on the topic. I then researched publicly available data and gathered carrier/broker commentary and other industry insights and trends related to the personal insurance landscape. The end result was a 3 page article that also included modular copy within, allowing it be repurposed as branded content across multiple channels.

Additionally, I worked as the lead copywriter for a commissioned ad campaign pitch. Vault wanted to lighten up their message and promote their new and optimistic approach to E&S insurance solutions.

We developed the Vault “Change Your Perspective” campaign to demonstrate how E&S can be simple and accessible with Vault. We accomplished this by animating the letters “E&S” to reveal the word “EASY,” inviting audiences to literally shift their perspective.

To further redefine E&S as a strategic and underutilized insurance solution, I wrote a series of taglines and script dialogue that accompanied the animation.
